From 1st to 5th April 2024, Beijing GS Technology Co., Ltd (GSAFETY) teamed up with Hefei Institute for Public Safety Research, Tsinghua University (THHI), participated in the Milipol-Asia Pacific-TechX Summit 2024 (MAPS-TXS 2024) in Singapore. During the summit, the joint delegation, led by Deputy Dean, Prof. Su Guofeng, Deputy Dean, Prof. Fan Guanbing, and Dr. Du Peng, Deputy General Manager of GSAFETY, engaged in fruitful discussions with multiple Singapore government departments and formalized the collaboration by signing a strategic cooperation memorandum between THHI and HTX.

MAPS-TXS 2024 stands out as the largest exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region focusing on land and public safety. This year’s summit also marks the Singapore government’s inaugural deep involvement in co-hosting a security technology summit. Themed “A Safe and Secure Future”, the summit focuses on the cutting-edge intersections of public safety and AI. In partnership with THHI, GSAFETY showcased a comprehensive range of commercialized public safety technologies developed by Tsinghua University. The exhibition highlighted GSATEGY’s end-to-end industry collaborations and underscored its extensive experience and capabilities in project implementation on a global scale.
During the exhibition, in addition to interactions with leaders from various government agencies of Singapore, our booth received extensive attention from officials, public safety experts and general visitors from various countries such as China, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Brunei. Many expressed keen interest in GSAFETY’s products and services, having in-depth discussions with our team to further understand our professional capabilities and extensive expertise in the field of public safety.

On April 4th, THHI and HTX signed a strategic cooperation memorandum. THHI was the sole Chinese entity among other prominent signatories at this summit such as like IEEE, Microsoft, Samsung Electronics, and ST Engineering. This agreement marks not only the affirmation of trusted collaborative relationship but the commencement of new adventure of joint exploration for technological innovation.
As the hosting entity of the Local GSRI COE (GSafety Research Institute Center of Excellence), global innovation mechanism for transformation of academic research and emergent technologies of THHI, and the only Chinese Strategic Partnership for Innovation (SPI) of HTX, GSAFETY’s Singapore subsidiary is poised to further ongoing cooperation in urban safety with Singapore and other partners in SEA region.
